Why divers
trust WorldMore.

Designed by divers, for divers. We cover the risks that standard policies exclude.

Hyperbaric Chamber Cover

Decompression sickness (DCS) requires immediate hyperbaric treatment. We cover chamber fees, medical transport, and specialist recompression therapy.

Diving up to 40m

Recreational scuba diving is included up to 40 metres in depth, when it is non-professional and non-competitive.

Emergency Evacuation

Remote dive sites often require air ambulance or speedboat evacuation to the nearest suitable medical facility. We cover the logistics and cost.

Gear Protection

Dive gear and cameras may fall under personal effects cover, but cameras and photographic equipment are treated as valuables and are subject to the valuables and single-item limits.

Trip Interruption

Bad weather canceling your boat dives? Ear infection keeping you dry? We reimburse unused pre-paid dive packages and boat fees.

24/7 Dive Medic Assist

Direct access to medical professionals trained in diving medicine. We can advise on 'pains and bends' and coordinate appropriate treatment.

Common questions.

What divers ask us before gearing up.

Are there depth limits?

Yes. Recreational scuba diving is automatically covered up to 40 metres in depth.

Is solo diving covered?

No. The policy wording lists scuba diving as covered up to 40 metres in depth, but excludes solo diving. Diving must also be recreational, non-professional, and non-competitive.

Is my camera gear covered?

Camera and underwater photography equipment can fall under personal effects cover, but photographic equipment is treated as valuables. That means it is subject to the valuables limit of £350 in total, the single article limit of £250, and the usual unattended/checked-in baggage exclusions. You should keep receipts or proof of value where possible.

Does this cover decompression sickness (the bends)?

Yes. Emergency medical expenses can include decompression chamber treatment and necessary medical transport where medically necessary. The policy also excludes claims connected with air travel within 24 hours of scuba diving, so leave enough time before flying after your final dive.
